I have stayed at B&Bs and inns around the world and just added Oak Hill Inn to my short list of favorites (a really short list of two; Number 11 in Bruges, Belgium and now Oak Hill in Natchez). Doug and Don did a wonderful job restoring this historic 1830's house. The house comes alive with the beautiful period furniture, art and other objects they collected over decades or that have descended from family. They are gracious and attentive hosts and the breakfasts are second-to-none to any I have had at this type accommodation (think eggs Benedict with Meyer lemon hollandaise as just part of a delicious breakfast). We thoroughly enjoyed our first time in Natchez in large part to Doug and Don. We will be back, and I know where we will stay.
